Today, Savannah Pines helped me kick off the SIGHT NIGHT eyeglass drive. Eyeglasses will be donated to help those in need but may not be able to afford them. SIGHT NIGHT is sponsored by the LIONS Foundation International and is an annual drive that helps those in need. Thanks to Ann and the residents at Savannah Pines for helping make this a success.

It is Great You Stopped By To Read A Bit About My Great Chance to Become 2008 National All American Miss!!!
With all the support from family, friends, and Nebraska businesses, this Nebraska girl is ready to show her Nebraska pride. Here is a bit about my journey so far.
Emma Keifer Crowned First Runner Up 2008 Miss Junior Pre-Teen Nebraska
· Lincoln, NE, August 3rd, 2008: National American Miss conducted its 2008 Nebraska National Miss State Pageant in Lincoln , July 31st - August 3rd . 200 contestants competed in 4 age divisions (Princess, Junior Pre-Teen, Pre-Teen, Teen). The contestants were judged in the following categories: introduction, interview and formalwear modeling, community involvement were the primary pageant qualifiers while the additional categories: casual wear modeling, spokesmodel, academic achievement, art, and actress allow contestants to showcase specific talents. A panel of 6 judges from across the Nation compiled scores on each contestant to determine the overall winners.
Emma Keifer, daughter of Johnny and Tracey Keifer, competed amongst 30 contestants in the Junior Pre Teen division. Her performance on Friday earned her 1st place in Modeling, 1st place in Art, and 2nd runner up in Talent. On Saturday, the overall field was narrowed to the final 10 contestants to determine Miss Junior Pre-Teen Nebraska. The final results ended awarding Emma Keifer the title of First Runner-Up Miss Junior Pre-Teen Nebraska. This is Emma’s first experience competing at a pageant. As the First Runner Up, Emma has qualified as Miss Lincoln to compete for the National All American Miss Junior Pre-Teen Title in November 2008 in Anaheim, California. Her overall mission while representing her title is to educate and encourage Nebraskans to become active blood donors for the American Red Cross. She spends her time throughout the year attending St. Peter’s Catholic School, dancing competitively for True Dance Academy, creating art at Lux Arts Center, playing with her bulldog, Daisy Mae, and enjoying time with her family and friends.
